A Thirty-Five-Year Manufacturing Legacy: The "Hong Kong DNA" and Mainland Practice of VJ Electronics

A company's history is the profound accumulation of its culture and capabilities. The story of VJ Electronics began in Hong Kong in 1988. In an era when China's manufacturing industry was burgeoning, we were registered and established in Hong Kong, initially focusing on electronics product development and international trade. This period as a Hong Kong factory​ instilled in us invaluable "Hong Kong DNA": an international business perspective, pursuit of product design aesthetics, rigorous contract spirit, and acute sensitivity to global market demands.

With thriving business development, to meet growing manufacturing needs and leverage economies of scale, we made a strategic decision in 1991: establishing a modern production base in Shenzhen, the forefront of China's reform and opening-up. This marked the formal establishment of our "Hong Kong Development + Mainland Production" dual-base model and opened a new glorious chapter in our history since starting production in 1988.

Through thirty-five years of weathering storms together, we have personally experienced and participated in several major transitions in the global electronics manufacturing industry. The Hong Kong factory​ era tempered our "soft power"—product definition, design innovation, and customer service capabilities. The mainland factory​ practice strengthened our "hard power"—precision manufacturing, cost control, and large-scale delivery capabilities. The two complement each other, forming VJ Electronics' unique core competitiveness.

From initially connecting with international orders to now providing OEM/ODM​ services for globally renowned brands; from simple electronic assembly to now possessing self-developed patented products like electronic dartboards, our journey is a history of steadfast, step-by-step upgrading.
